F-16 ~ Solo Display
De Belgische F-16 gevechtsvliegtuigen kan je normaal gezien terugvinden in de 10 WING te Kleine-Brogel en 2 WING te Florennes waar ze het luchtruim bewaken, verkennings -en gevechtsvluchten uitvoeren en de nieuwe gevechtspiloten uitvoerig trainen. Er is echter één F-16 die ook een andere missie heeft: de Dream Viper. Deze wordt door zijn piloot elke dag opnieuw tot het uiterste gepusht.
In oktober 2021 werd Steven “Vrieske” De Vries verkozen als nieuwe Display Pilot voor de komende 3 jaren, en op zijn allereerste Display in Cosford al direct beloond met de Bill Hartee Trophy voor meest entertainende Flying Display. Sindsdien heeft het team al menig prijzen en felicitaties op hun palmares. Strap in and enjoy the show!
Les avions de combat F-16 belges se trouvent généralement au 10W situé à Kleine-Brogel et au 2W situé à Florennes, où ils assurent la surveillance de l'espace aérien, effectuent des missions de reconnaissance et de combat, et fournissent une formation approfondie aux nouveaux pilotes de chasse. The Belgian F-16 fighter planes can normally be found in the 10th WING at Kleine-Brogel and 2 WING at Florennes where they guard the airspace, conduct reconnaissance and combat flights, and extensively train the new fighter pilots. However, there is one F-16 that also has another mission: the Dream Viper. This one is pushed to its limits by its pilot every day.
In October 2021, Steven "Vrieske" De Vries was elected as the new Display Pilot for the next 3 years, and on his very first Display at Cosford was immediately awarded the Bill Hartee Trophy for most entertaining Flying Display. De Belgische A109 Agusta helikopter is normaal gezien te vinden in het 17 SQN op de 1 WING te Beauvechain, waar het traint op verkennings- en gevechtsopdrachten, medische -en personeelstransporten. Onder de naam ‘Razzle Blades’ tonen demopiloten Jo en Stijn de wendbaarheid en flexibiliteit van onze helikopters. Spot u de ‘Death Angel’ tijdens hun show?
L'hélicoptère Agusta A109 belge est généralement basé à la 17ème escadrille du 1W de Beauvechain, où il s'entraîne aux missions de reconnaissance, de combat, de transport médical et de personnel. Sous le nom de "Razzle Blades", les pilotes de démonstration Jo et Stijn mettent en avant l'agilité et la flexibilité de nos hélicoptères. NH90 ~ Caiman display
De Belgische NH90 NFH staat 24/7 klaar om zoek -en reddingsacties te ondernemen aan de kustlijn en op zee. Ze opereert vanuit het 40e SQN op de vliegbasis van Koksijde. Naast de piloot en co-piloot, vliegt er steeds een Cabin Operator mee die verantwoordelijk is voor de Winch, en een duiker. Éen van de vier NH90 NFH helikopters van de Belgische Luchtmacht wordt naast SAR en MAR opdrachten ook gebruikt om displays te geven van z’n capaciteiten. Geniet van deze uitzonderlijke demo, wie weet redden ze misschien ooit uw leven!
Le NH90 NFH belge est opérationnel 24h/24 et 7j/7 pour les opérations de recherche et de sauvetage le long de la côte et en mer. Il opère depuis le 40ème escadrille sur la base aérienne de Coxyde. En plus du pilote et du co-pilote, un opérateur de cabine est toujours présent à bord, responsable du treuil, ainsi qu'un plongeur. L'un des quatre hélicoptères NH90 NFH de la Force aérienne belge est utilisé non seulement pour les missions de recherche et de sauvetage mais aussi pour présenter ses capacités lors de démonstrations. The Belgian NH90 NFH is ready 24/7 to undertake search and rescue operations on the coastline and at sea. It operates from the 40th SQN at Koksijde Air Base. In addition to the pilot and co-pilot, a Cabin Operator (in charge of the Winch) and their diver always fly along. One of the four NH90 NFH helicopters of the Belgian Air Force will be used to give displays of its capabilities in addition to SAR and MAR missions. SF-260 Marchetti ~ Red Devils
Het Belgische SF-260 Marchetti trainingsvliegtuig kan je normaal gezien terugvinden in de 1 WING te Beauvechain, waar het de Student Pilots van de Belgische Luchtmacht tot het uiterste duwt ter voorbereiding van een van de andere vliegcapaciteiten. Uitzonderlijk krijg je er vandaag vier te zien, onder leiding van Luitenant-Kolonel Vlieger Jean Van Hecke, die perfectie tonen op het vlak van formatievliegen. Met minder dan een meter afstand tijdens sommige formaties, tonen ze de capaciteiten van onze vlieginstructeurs en trainingsvliegtuigen. Ken jij de naam al van elke formatie?

Aujourd'hui, vous aurez toutefois la chance de voir un spectacle exceptionnel avec quatre de ces avions, sous la direction du Lieutenant-Colonel Aviateur Jean Van Hecke, qui démontrent une perfection dans le vol en formation. Avec moins d'un mètre d'écart loeq de certaines formations, ils mettent en valeur les capacités de nos instructeurs de vol et de nos avions d'entraînement. Exceptionally, you get to see four of them today, led by Lieutenant-Colonel Pilot Jean Van Hecke, displaying perfection in formation flying.
